Weight Loss Supplements


Weight-loss supplements can be divided into: thermogenics, fat burners, satiating, blocking and meal substitutes.


1 - Thermogenics


Thermogenic supplements are indicated to increase body temperature. Increasing body temperature means accelerating metabolism and boosting fat burning faster. Among the thermogenics with stimulants, the most important are those with green tea and caffeine in their composition. They should be used with caution in people with hypertension, anxiety, etc., as these products with stimulants can increase heart rate and blood pressure.


Green Tea - stimulates lipolysis (fat burning) and thermogenesis (release of heat by transforming calories into energy), favoring the elimination of fat. The caffeine present in green tea allows to increase the metabolism. The catecholamines of green tea still have antioxidant and diuretic action.


Caffeine - is considered one of the most effective thermogenics, as well as pepper (capsaicin). Able to accelerate metabolism, improve energy and bring more disposition to workouts, caffeine is also great for burning fats and decreasing appetite.


2- Fat burners (without stimulants)


To circumvent the impossibility of taking thermogenics with stimulants, there are solutions that also allow the combustion of fats and that can also be associated with thermogenics if the latter are well tolerated.

CLA - or conjugated linoleic acid, is a type of fat that helps the body to speed up metabolism and also to decrease cellulite. Widely used these days, this supplement is able to decrease abdominal fat, which is the most dangerous of all.


L-Carnitine - is a compound present in mitochondria that uses fat as an energy source, increasing fat combustion during physical activity. As such, it is a supplement that promotes weight loss whenever there is practice of physical exercise. It also promotes the reduction of triglycerides and increases the levels of good cholesterol (HDL), acting in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.


Indicated for weight loss and to decrease fat deposition at the liver level.


Morosil™ - innovative standardized extract obtained from Moro red oranges. It acts on abdominal fat, which is just the hardest to lose. In addition, Morosil ™ prevents fat from building up in adipocytes.
