Juices, Smoothies and Refreshing Soups

In the summer, cold recipes like salads or ice cream are really good, right? But the diversity of recipes goes beyond this: there are juices, smoothies and refreshing soups that are the perfect allies to maintain a healthy diet, when the choice of ingredients is the most correct.


Juices, smoothies and soups are a delicious and practical way to increase the consumption of vegetables, taking advantage of the benefits of all its nutrients.


They are very simple to make and the combinations are almost endless. Try our suggestions:


Summer juice




Ingredients:
150ml of green tea (cold)
1 Slice of watermelon
1 beet slice
1 dessert spoon of chia seeds
Ice cubes (optional)


Preparation:
- Prepare the tea and let it cool.
- Wash and cut the ingredients.
- Grind all the ingredients to obtain a homogeneous and fluid consistency. Serve with ice cubes if you prefer.

Refreshing smoothie




Ingredients:
100ml Vegetable Drink (cold)
2 slices of pineapple
1 Sliver of ginger (3cm)
Mint leaves q.b (optional)
Ice cubes (optional)


Preparation:
- Wash and prepare the ingredients.
- Grind all the ingredients to obtain a homogeneous and fluid consistency. Serve with ice cubes if you prefer.



Cold soup




Ingredients:
1/2 courgette
1/2 Pumpkin butter
1 Orange
2 garlic cloves
Thyme
Salt q.b
Olive oil
Ginger q.b


Preparation:
- Place the pumpkin, courgette and garlic cut into pieces on a baking sheet. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil, thyme and salt. Bake at 180º until cooked.
- In a blender or food processor, place the ingredients you removed from the oven, add water, juice and orange zest, a thin piece of ginger. Grind everything until you get a homogeneous and fluid mixture.
- You can serve it on the plate or choose to put it in a glass or mason jar and drink it.
