Citrulline and Muscle Growth

Citrulline and Muscle Growth

Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that can help your sports performance through multiple actions.

Citrulline by Rocksprint is a supplement of L-Citrulline, a non-essential amino acid, produced naturally by the body, which can also be found in food or as a food supplement.

In the kidneys, L-citrulline is converted to L-arginine, an amino acid that is a prime source of nitrogen and is responsible for stimulating release into nitric oxide. Vasodilation is induced by nitric oxide following L-citrulline supplementation, allowing a greater flow of blood to tissues and a more efficient supply of nutrients and oxygen.

The greater the blood flow to the musculoskeletal and cardiac, the greater the availability of energy. This increased blood flow is also useful for the elimination of toxins and excretion of lactic acid, resulting from the practice of intense physical exercise. This factor helps delay muscle fatigue, with a faster recovery of muscle damage.

The increase in Arginine after L-citrulline supplementation stimulates the release of anabolic hormones, namely human growth hormone (HGH), which will induce muscle mass synthesis and increase insulin sensitivity.

Benefits of Citrulline by Rocksprint:

- Muscles nourished;
- Energy boost;
- Reduction of muscle fatigue;
- Increased muscle synthesis;
- Promotes the release of anabolic hormones (HGH).

To boost all these benefits you can also conjugate Citrulline with whey protein and HMB for muscle growth.

How to take?
Citrulline should be consumed preferably in the morning and immediately prior to exercise. One 3 ml (2 g) measurement should be used twice daily, dissolved in half a glass of water.
